Placing a small knot in between freshwater pearls and gemstone round beads has been a core jewellery technique for hundreds of years. The small knot acts as a tiny buffer in between the beads allowing greater flexibility in your finished item, whilst at the same time protecting your beads. In this training course, we take you step by step through the traditional technique. The skills are traditionally used with silk thread but they work brilliantly with silky rattail threads too. For a professional finish to your jewellery making, we highly recommend this training course. |
