Accounts

We do not operate an account system and it is our policy that payment in received in each case before the order is sent out to you. We would much rather be sending out your parcels, than spend time chasing late payers!

Visiting the bead Shop.

We are delighted to announce that we now have retail shop that you are more than welcome to visit. Our opening ours for visiting are:

Monday - closed

Tuesday - 9.00am until 4.30pm

Wednesday - 9.00am until 4.30pm

Thursday - 9.00am until 4.30pm

Friday - 9.00am until 4.30pm

Saturday - 9.00am until 1.30pm

EC Nickel Directives

Please note that ALL metal items within the Bead Exclusive range fully comply with the EC Nickel Directives (94/27/EC).

Mistakes

We will always do our best to be perfect, but despite our efforts we accept that mistakes happen. If this should ever happen, please let us know and we will correct any error by return.

Overseas Customers

Worldwide customers are most welcome and orders will be packed and despatched in the same way. We have kept our postage rates simple. We will charge £7.50 for European countries and £12.50 for the rest of the world. Please also see VAT below.

Payment

 

Paying By Credit/Debit Card

Customers ordering on the website will be asked for their credit/debit card payment and payment will be taken at this point using Sagepay secure payment gateway. Please note that Bead Exclusive does not have access to your card details, however we are able to refund and credit your card. Card details or cheque payment will need to be provided as payment for orders placed by e-mail, fax, by post or over the telephone. Please ensure that in all cases that you have supplied us with all the necessary details so that your order is not held up. Please note that credit/debit card details that are given to us are not stored and are destroyed every time once payment has been taken.

Payment by Cash

If you would like to pay by cash then this is now not a problem. When sending money through the post however, please ensure that is sent by a secure route ie. by recorded or registered post. This is to safeguard your money. Our policy is that your beady bits will be sent onto you as soon as the funds have been received.

Payment by Cheque/Postal Orders

Should you wish to pay by cheque, then please make cheques payable to 'Bead Exclusive' for the full amount of your order. Once again, your order will be on its way to you as soon as your cheque arrives with us. Please ensure cheques are dated, made payable to and signed - thank you!

 

Postage

Postage charges listed are for UK orders are will be sent by Royal Mail First Class post. Postage is charged based on the value of your order and are as follows.

up to £50.00 - £1.95

£50.00 to £100.00 - £2.50

£100 plus - free!

All orders over £100 will be sent by Registered Mail and will require a signature upon delivery. Any order over £200.00 will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, and will once again require a signature. In addition to this we do offer a NEXT DAY DELIVERY service. This is an additional charge of £5.00. Please note that orders need to be recieved by noon in order to be sent the same day. Orders received after this time or placed over the weekend will be sent by NEXT DAY DELIVERY on the next working day. In each case where is signature is required, you are more than welcome to list an alternative address for delivery that may be more suitable for you.

Missing Parcels

You will be sent an e-mail from us when your order is despatched. Your parcel will be sent by first class mail and so please allow 48 hours for your parcel to arrive. If your parcel does not arrive please let us know. We are unable to make a claim for your parcel until 15 working days have passed. If after this time your parcel has still not arrived, we will resend your order at our cost. If however you require items before 15 days, the order will be resent at your cost. This will be refunded after the 15 day period has passed. Alternatively, should the first parcel arrive, please return it to us for a full refund plus your postage costs.

Prices

Our prices may vary without notice and do not include carriage. Prices shown on the website now include VAT at 20% with the amount of VAT charged being itemised within the shopping basket and checkout.

Product Terminology

The term 'Silver plate' and 'gold plate' refers to the colour of the final finish that has been applied to a base metal component. Any product containing Sterling Silver or 9ct, 14ct or 18ct as a plating will be clearly identifiable, as will any item made purely from a precious metal.

Returns

Bead Exclusive does not operate a 'Sale or Return' policy. We operate within the Consumer Distance Selling Regulations. If you have received an item that you do not want or is faulty, please return to us within 7 days of receiving that for an exchange or refund. Please ensure that goods are returned safely and securely.

Please note that for Health and Safety reasons, earwires and studs may NOT be returned unless they are found faulty.

Stock Levels

Although we try our best to maintain good stock levels, sometimes items will become out of stock. If an item has been charged to you but stock levels have not been altered in time and we are unable to supply an item then we will contact you for you to decide how you would like to proceed, We can offer alternatives, refunds or information as to when stock will be available.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

Our website now will show all prices including VAT at 20%. When you proceed to the checkout the breakdown of VAT charged will be shown. Please note that if you are ordering from a country that does not pay VAT that the site will automatically adjust the total value of your order once your address is entered.

Variations

Whilst every effort has been made to represent our products in their true form, we accept that everyone will have their computer screens set to different settings. Variations in size, colour or finish can occur if beads are handcrafted and of course where beads are natural like shells and semi-precious stones. Wholesale Mixed Bags

Please ensure when making your selections that you stay within the pack quantity. If you select over the pack size, then please note that only the beads within with pack quantity will be sent. Eg. If the pack size is a pack of 100 and your selections add up to 110, then your first choices up to the 100 will be sent.

Every effort will be made to adjust stock levels online, however if a colour is selected that is out of stock, the pack will be made up with your other selections. In every case, we will endeavor to contact you and give you the choice of alternatives where possible.
